One in Hospital After Crash in Austin

Round Rock, TEXAS (Newsbreak) – A person was hospitalized Tuesday afternoon after a crash in Northwest Austin, emergency officials said.
Austin-Travis County medics around 5 p.m. Tuesday were notified of a person who could not get out of their car after they had crashed into a different vehicle. Officials said the crash occurred just southeast of the intersection of U.S. 183 and Texas 45.
Emergency officials tweeted shortly after 5:21 p.m. that the person was rescued from their car. The person, who was not identified, was taken to St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center with potentially serious injuries, according to Austin-Travis County EMS officials.
