Zinda Law Group is proud to congratulate Claire Perkins of Trophy Club, Texas, on being selected as the winner of our 2018 scholarship!
Each year, Zinda Law Group presents a $1,000 scholarship to a student pursuing or planning to pursue higher education in political science, government service, or a related field. Applicants are asked to write an essay on how they will use their education to help consumers, families, the general public, or underserved communities, and they are also judged on their academic achievement and involvement in extracurricular activities and community organizations.
Claire Perkins is a member of the Class of 2018 at Byron Nelson High School in Trophy Club, where she successfully balanced a demanding course load with a number of extracurricular activities. She served as secretary of the Speech and Debate Team and as a member of the National Honor Society, Health Occupations Students of America, and Delta Positive. Moreover, she has generously volunteered her time and talents as fund-raiser chair for Ronald McDonald House of Fort Worth. This outstanding student was also named an AP Scholar with Distinction.
This fall, Claire will be enrolling in The University of Texas at Austin, where she plans to pursue a bachelor's degree in psychology in hopes of one day enjoying a career in medicine or medicine law.
A source of tremendous pride to her family and friends, Claire Perkins has demonstrated a notable commitment to excellence throughout her academic career, and she is truly deserving of the 2018 Zinda Law Group Scholarship. We extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in all her future endeavors!
