Alexi Gedlaman

Located in our Denver office, Alexi Gedlaman is a personal injury attorney focusing on car accidents, premises liability, and dog bites as well as other forms of personal injury.

Having grown up in a small town in Montana, Alexi knows what it is like for people with fewer financial and legal resources to go up against massive insurance companies and businesses. When Alexi saw fellow community members go through the legal process and litigation as a kid, it always seemed shrouded in confusion and frustration. She decided to become an attorney to help people like her family and her community members navigate the legal world. She wanted to improve access to justice and help guide people through difficult times in their lives.

In law school, Alexi was drawn to personal injury work because of the unique opportunity it presented to help people with limited finances and resources in difficult situations. She wanted to provide compassionate representation for people going through life-altering moments.

Having a passion for equity, Alexi focused on representing victim of sexual abuse and domestic violence before coming to Zinda Law Group. When she was in law school, Alexi acted as a student attorney for DU’s Civil Litigation Clinic, representing victims of domestic and sexual violence to obtain protection orders. She also acted as a guardian ad litem for children whose parents were involved in litigation.

Alexi graduated the University of Denver Sturm College of Law cum laude and served as president of the Women’s Legal Coalition. While in college, she was also a judicial intern for the 2nd Judicial District of Denver County in addition to being the student board member for the Colorado Women’s Bar Association.

Alexi is currently licensed to practice law in Colorado and is pending licensure in Texas. She hopes to become licensed in New Mexico and Arizona. Alexi also holds professional memberships with the Colorado Bar Association, Colorado Women’s Bar Association, and the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association.

Outside of law, Alexi enjoys spending time with her two terrier-chihuahua mixes—Peanut and Pepper. She also enjoys playing board games, making comfort food, and basking in the Colorado sunshine.
