Do I have to Pay to Meet with a Personal Injury Attorney?

Hiring a personal injury attorney is very different than hiring a business law attorney. Usually, a business law attorney would charge you by the hour, and clients would pay the attorney for the work that was done no matter what the outcome may be.

However, the personal injury attorneys at Zinda Law Group realize that individuals haven’t been saving up thousands of dollars in order to hire a lawyer in the event they are injured. At Zinda Law Group, our personal injury lawyers work on what is called a contingency fee basis. What this means is that we meet with clients, explain what legal avenues may exist, and strategize their particular case free of charge.

During the course of a personal injury case, our firm pays for all of the expenses incurred during the claim or litigation process. If a recovery is not made on our client’s behalf, the client would never have to pay an attorney fee for our time or expense.  In a contingency fee case, clients only pay a legal fee to their attorney if they win—that is, a recovery is made for the client.

Contingency fees offer the client a low risk opportunity to pursue various legal remedies without having to pay for the expensive cost of litigation, experts, and fees associated with the case up front. If you have any questions about your personal injury case or how contingency fees work, please do not hesitate to contact an experienced personal injury lawyer at Zinda Law Group.
