The body of a Texas college student was recovered after an accident earlier in the weekend that resulted in the drowning of the 18-year-old student.

The male student was canoeing with friends when dangerous weather conditions caused the canoe to sink. Two of his friends were able to make it safely to shore, but he was unable to, and drowned in the lake.

Dangerous winds and bad water conditions are believed to be the cause of the accident and the death.

Whenever any person loses a loved one it is always a tragic and painful event. In certain cases where it is possible that the actions of another person, or even a defective product such as a canoe or sporting equipment could have caused the accident, it is only worse.
