Wimberly resident Terri Elmore has been arrested and charged with intoxication manslaughter after a tragic and fatal incident that occurred on November 29th, 2011, according to the Austin American-Statesman.

Rev. Ernest Boyett Jr. and his wife Barbara were travelling in their motor vehicle in Travis County when they were struck head-on by the FJ cruiser driven by Elmore at about 9:15pm. Both Ernest and Barbara were pronounced dead at the scene. Elmore sustained injuries as well and was taken to Brackenridge Hospital. Blood alcohol tests revealed Elmore was driving intoxicated, as she was over twice the legal limit. Elmore currently faces up to 20 years in jail
