Two trucks and five cars were involved in a multi-vehicle accident on Interstate 30 yesterday. There are conflicting accounts of what caused the car accident, but it began with a truck accident between the two truck drivers.

One truck was a concrete mixer, and the other was a rock hauler. The concrete truck driver claims that the rock hauler truck driver rear ended him, causing him to lose control of his vehicle. The other 5 cars were caught as the two trucks were colliding.

Officials had to close Interstate 30 on both sides of the road. It was closed for around 6 hours while they cleared the wreckage. Overall, seven people had to be hospitalized because of their injuries. Two had serious injuries but are said to be stable. The concrete driver and two others were uninjured.
