I did not know what to do. I had never been hurt in a wreck before and this was a major accident that was not my fault. I reached out to Zinda Law Group and they were fantastic, answered all my questions, got me help immediately, and took care of everything!!
There comes a time when you need someone in your corner that you can trust. Our time came when we knew we needed the advice and counsel of an attorney. The day we walked into Zinda Law Group we knew we were covered.
There is a reason why this law firm has a 5 star rating. My experience with personal injury attorney Joe Caputo and all of the staff at Zinda Law Group has been excellent... I would definitely recommend Zinda Law Group.
Maria Ciara-Former Client
This is a really great firm! They settled my personal injury case in a year. Throughout the whole process, they were keeping in touch with me and helping me get the best treatment possible. They honestly know what they are doing. It was a pleasure working with these guys.
Everyone was so professional and was very interested in helping me with my issues. They were very upfront and honest about what I could expect.
I contacted Zinda Law Group after getting nowhere on my own with a personal injury case. I am so thankful I did. They took it off my plate and handled everything from appointments, to phone calls, and emails.
Most personal injury law firms offer a free initial consultation. This initial consultation is a great way to determine if you are comfortable with an attorney before you hire one. If you are unsure about whether you have a case or whether you are likely to succeed with your claim, a free consultation is good opportunity to determine whether you want to move forward with a lawsuit.
No Win No Fee Agreement (Contingency Fee Agreement)
Attorneys who believe a case has merit will often take a case without payment up front. This kind of arrangement is known as a contingency fee. Instead of charging you by the hour, an attorney working on a contingency basis will only receive payment if your case is successful. If you do not receive damages or a settlement, you will not owe any legal fees for the work done on your case.
A contingency fee is an agreed upon percentage of the recovery. This will be discussed and agreed between you and your lawyer. When you reach an agreement on the fixed percentage, your attorney will put the agreement in writing and provide you with a signed copy.
There are fees and expenses that can arise during the course of a lawsuit. These can include;
- court filing fees;
- deposition fee;
- police report fees, and;
- expert witness fees.
These costs are mostly associated with trial, so they will increase as you get closer to your day in court. Remember that only a very small percentage of cases actually make it to trial, most injury claims are settled before ever having to set foot into a courtroom.
These types of fees may be included in your agreed upon contingency fee, but some attorneys will charge you for these costs as they occur – this is definitely a question worth asking when you decide on an attorney. You should ensure you understand how you will be charged for these costs before you agree to hire an attorney.
