Ben Abbas is a trial lawyer in our Austin office. Passionate about the firm’s core purpose—to provide justice for all regardless of wealth—Ben is a steadfast advocate for his clients. He currently handles motor vehicle collisions, premises liability cases, dog bite cases, trucking cases, and commercial vehicle wrecks.

Ben decided to become a personal injury lawyer to create opportunities for others and “pay it forward.” Ben recognized personal injury law as the perfect avenue to help injured victims get back to the position they were in before their injury. Prior to joining the Zinda Law Group team, Ben attended Baylor Law School, where he received the professional track in Estate Planning and the Thomas M. Featherston, Jr. Estate Planning Award. He also served as an intern in bankruptcy court in the Southern District of Texas for the Honorable Marvin Isgur.

Ben completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Chicago, where he triple-majored in Political Science, Spanish, and Comparative Race and Ethnic Studies. During his undergraduate studies, Ben served as the president of one of the University of Chicago’s a cappella groups, which released multiple albums during his tenure. In fact, Ben competed at the highest level at the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella Finals at the Beacon Theater on Broadway in New York City twice, taking second and third internationally. He additionally went on tour and performed at the White House for President Obama in 2015.
