Last night two 18-wheelers and one car crash temporarily closed part of Southbound I-35 in Austin. The accident left one of the 18-wheelers charred, but both the car and the other semi-truck were unburned. According to KXAN Austin, the car driver was injured, but all injuries were non-life-threatening, and both truck drivers emerged from the situation unharmed.
Authorities closed I-35 after the William cannon drive exit, and traffic was detoured through that exit.
WHO MAY BE LIABLE FOR MY INJURIES?
Truck transportation companies rely on their employees to run the physical driving of their business. Unfortunately, there are times when negligence, absentmindedness, or reckless driving may lead to accidents such as the collision over Lake Denton. Depending on the unique circumstances of your case, you could get compensation from the following sources:
• The truck driver themselves
• The Trucking Company
• A Third Party (such as an automobile parts manufacturer)
