Frederick Caberto is an associate attorney at Zinda Law Group, based in the firm’s Austin office. With a background in biomedical engineering and an interest in legal innovation, Frederick brings a unique perspective to personal injury law. His decision to become a lawyer was driven by a desire to expand his educational skill set and apply analytical thinking to real-world problems, especially through the integration of artificial intelligence into legal practice.

Frederick’s legal focus centers on enhancing the practice of personal injury law with cutting-edge AI solutions. He is passionate about leveraging technology to automate time-consuming legal processes, enabling attorneys to focus more on achieving life-changing results for their clients. Frederick is most interested in tackling the time-intensive aspects of legal work where AI can make the greatest impact.

Before becoming a lawyer, Frederick gained diverse experience in roles ranging from research assistant to manufacturing engineer to assistant attorney general. These varied positions instilled in him a strong work ethic, empathy, and a process-oriented mindset. He prides himself on being approachable, down-to-earth, and client focused.

Frederick earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Houston Law Center, where he was awarded the LEX Award for Top 1L Grade in Lawyering Skills and Strategies and served as a Senior Articles Editor for the Houston Journal of Health Law and Policy. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.

Frederick is licensed to practice law in Texas. He also holds a CIPP/US certification through the IAPP, reflecting his interest in data privacy and technology’s role in the legal field.
Outside of the office, Frederick enjoys playing golf, cooking, and watching Jeopardy! He can solve a Rubik’s cube in under 20 seconds and is known for his karaoke and dancing skills (talents endorsed by his wife!). He and his family love exploring new restaurants around Austin, especially favorites like Lake Travis, Emma Long Metropolitan Park, and the omakase experience at Tsuke Edomae.
