Rudwin Ayala
Trial Attorney
Rudwin Ayala leads Zinda Law Group’s medical malpractice practice, where he focuses on representing victims of medical negligence and their families. He brings more than 16 years of trial practice in medical malpractice cases, in state and federal courts, and on both sides of the courtroom.
That last part matters more than any award. For 13 years, Rudwin defended a major hospital system’s medical malpractice litigation across the State of Florida. He knows how hospitals investigate these cases, how their lawyers build a defense, and where that defense breaks, because he spent over a decade building them.
He then moved to the plaintiff’s side at one of the nation’s largest injury law firms, fighting for the patients and families he now represents at Zinda. His trial verdicts include results of $19 million and $3 million, and he has recovered more than $50 million for his clients, including a recent $4 million settlement for a woman whose breast cancer diagnosis was missed. Past results do not determine your case, and compensation turns on the facts of your injury. What his record shows is how these cases get prepared, and what prepared looks like in a courtroom.
Rudwin is licensed in Florida and Texas. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Florida and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. He earned his J.D. from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad College of Law as a Goodwin Scholar, after graduating magna cum laude from Quinnipiac University. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
Away from his practice, Rudwin spends his time with his wife and four children, serving at his church, and traveling.
