Dave Gravely
Dave Gravely is a trial lawyer for Zinda Law Group based out of our Austin, Texas office. A native Texan originally from San Antonio, Dave handles a wide variety of personal injury cases, including motor vehicle accidents, dog bites, slips and falls, commercial trucking accidents, premises liability incidents, and ski accidents.
Throughout law school, Dave demonstrated a strong work ethic and commitment to precision and excellence. He earned the “Best Brief Award” during his second semester for writing the best appellate brief in his section. Dave also served on the St. Mary’s Law Journal as both a staff writer and senior associate editor, refining his writing and editing skills. Because of Dave’s dedication to legal scholarship and academic achievement, he was consistently honored on the Dean’s List, and earned a place in the prestigious Harlan Society, which only admitted the top 10% of the class. Dave also was a member of Phi Delta Phi during law school, whose membership is only open to those with a demonstrated commitment to scholastic achievement, professional ethics, and honorable achievement. Only the select group of students who excel academically and enjoy the respect of their peers and professors are eligible to join.
Dave began accumulating legal experience long before graduating from law school. After his first year of legal studies, he interned at the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas – Midland/Odessa Division, where he further honed his writing and advocacy skills. During the law school term, Dave also served as a research assistant, helping edit a professor’s legal manuscripts. After his second year of law school, Dave clerked at Wigington, Rumley, Dunn & Blair, an elite personal injury and products liability firm, which is where he fell in love with helping injured people in need.
During his third year of law school, Dave joined the Consumer Protection Clinic at St. Mary’s University Law School’s Center for Legal and Social Justice, representing clients facing eviction and contributing to title-clearing efforts. This experience provided exceptional advocacy and motions practice, helping Dave develop into the confident and effective advocate he is today.
Driven by his fiery heart and a strong sense of justice, Dave jumped into personal injury law soon after completing law school. He knew that standing beside people during their times of need was exactly the career he was looking for.
Licensed to practice law throughout Texas, Dave’s dedication to legal excellence and his genuine passion for advocacy make him an invaluable asset to Zinda Law Group, and a trusted advocate for those seeking justice in personal injury cases.
Dave loves his family very much, along with the San Antonio Spurs and Houston Texans.
