James Dail

James Dail is a trial lawyer for Zinda Law Group based in our Austin office. James is a dedicated advocate for justice and the well-being of his clients. His journey to becoming a personal injury lawyer is guided by a profound commitment to making a positive impact on people’s lives.

His inspiration to pursue personal injury law comes from a first-hand experience. While he was growing up, his father suffered from a stroke and he witnessed the havoc that having a debilitating injury could wreak upon someone’s life. This fueled his desire to give back and fight for those who have been seriously injured through no fault of their own, like his dad.

While in law school, James gained valuable experience clerking, both at a county attorney’s office and at a firm specializing in commercial litigation. These experiences contributed significantly to his style as a lawyer, equipping him with the skills to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

As an attorney, James primarily focuses on handling motor vehicle accident, dog bite, and trucking accident cases. His passion lies in assisting clients facing catastrophic injuries, however they may come about. James is deeply committed to fighting for justice, fair compensation, and a brighter future for those who have suffered severe harm.

Currently licensed in Texas, James has ambitious plans to expand his reach to other states. He is actively pursuing licenses in Colorado, New Mexico, and Arizona, with the aim of extending his support to a broader community.

James completed his undergraduate studies at Claremont McKenna College in Greater Los Angeles, earning a degree in economics and government. He then went on to attend the University of Texas School of Law, where he was actively involved in the Texas International Law Journal. He also honed his skills through specialized classes in trial advocacy, all with the goal of becoming a more effective advocate for his clients.

When not practicing law, James enjoys exploring the great outdoors. You might find him relaxing at our very own Barton Springs in Austin. He also relishes exploring Austin’s diverse food and brewery scene.
