The Teacher HERO Award is our way of saying thank you. This year, we’re awarding a $10,000 prize to a teacher from one of Austin’s local school districts who has gone above and beyond to make a difference in their classroom, school, and community
- Who is eligible?
- Teachers of students in grades K-12.
- Teachers in the following Austin-area independent school districts:
- Austin Independent School District (AISD)
- Del Valle Independent School District (DVISD)
- Eanes Independent School District (EISD)
