Brian T. Burkhardt is a trial lawyer at Zinda Law Group, based in Fort Worth. In 2023, Brian achieved a Top 50 Personal Injury Verdict in the state of Texas, a testament to his skill, dedication, and relentless advocacy. A native Texan, Brian attended the University of Texas at San Antonio, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business. He went on to earn his Juris Doctorate from Texas Tech University School of Law, where he served as Chairman of the Board of Barristers, the school’s prestigious trial advocacy organization. During law school, he competed in and won several national advocacy competitions, including the American Bar Association’s Arbitration Competition in Chicago. These accomplishments reflect Brian’s competitive drive and his commitment to excellence in advocacy. He was also selected as a member of the Order of the Barristers, an honor recognizing his trial skills and advocacy achievements.

Brian is licensed to practice law in Texas and Oklahoma. Since receiving his license, he has been a proud member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association (TTLA), where he continues to learn and grow as part of a community of dedicated trial lawyers. Brian has also shared his expertise through CLE talks, including “Want to Know How They Did It? Trial Download with Burkhardt, Puls” to the Dallas Trial Lawyers Association.

Brian’s competitive spirit extends beyond the courtroom. He has competed on NBC’s American Ninja Warrior for five seasons, showcasing his dedication and perseverance. In addition, he represented Team USA in an international competition in Cannes, France. When he’s not practicing law or training, Brian enjoys climbing and exploring the local attractions in Fort Worth, which he is proud to call home.
