This tenacious litigator not only possesses a deep commitment to the law but also genuinely cares for his clients, striving to help them become whole again, both physically and financially. Over the years, he has helped many accident victims get their lives back on track after suffering an injury. He counts among his favorite aspects of his job building relationships with his clients, and he has garnered their respect and admiration by showing them care and compassion throughout their case and beyond.
After growing up in Austin, Joe graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and communication from Trinity University and subsequently enrolled at St. Mary’s University School of Law. There, he distinguished himself as a member of both the Board of Advocates and the National Mock Trial team. He clerked for Zinda Law Group at the end of his first and second years of law school, and after earning his juris doctorate, he joined the firm as an attorney.
In addition to his outstanding work as a litigator, Joe has greatly benefited his professional community as a member of a number of distinguished organizations, including the Austin Bar Association, the Texas Young Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association, the Capital Area Trial Lawyers Association, the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Association for Justice.
In recognition of his numerous accomplishments, Joe has been selected as one of the 10 Best Attorneys for Client Satisfaction in Texas by the American Institute of Personal Injury Attorneys for three consecutive years (2016-2018) and named to the 2016, 2019 and 2020 Top 40 Under 40 list published by the National Trial Lawyers. Moreover, he is a lifetime member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, a distinction held by less than one percent of attorneys nationwide and has been selected to the Super Lawyers Rising Stars list in 2019.
In all his endeavors, Joe is blessed with the love and support of his wife, Erica, and their two young children, Ellie and Henry. Outside the office, he enjoys spending his time playing golf and basketball.
