Trial lawyer Nathan Jacob has always felt a calling to advocate for people who are unable to advocate for themselves. He often calls his legal career a blessing because, as a lawyer, he is able to take on many roles in his clients’ lives as he counsels, encourages, and motivates them every day.
As a South Indian, he noticed that few people of his background became attorneys, but he felt called to be a light in the legal field. He hopes that younger kids in the South Indian culture will feel encouraged to pursue their dreams as he did. This idea also motivates his work at Zinda Law Group. Working out of our Dallas office, he currently helps catastrophic personal injury victims, clients injured in 18-wheeler accidents, gas explosions, motor vehicle collisions, and more.
Nathan attended Oklahoma City University School of Law and graduated with a joint Juris Doctorate and Master of Business Administration (JD/MBA) degree. During law school, he served as the Student Bar Association Secretary, Class Secretary, the Treasurer of the Christian Legal Society, and was a member of the Corporate Law Association. He also served as the school’s student representative for the first-ever Alumni Mentorship Committee that connected various alumni of the university with students in their final year of law school so that students could gain valuable experience and mentorship for their career goals.
Nathan’s prior professional experience includes a legal externship with Integris Health’s corporate counsel and a licensed legal internship with a criminal defense firm in Oklahoma City. During his time with the criminal defense firm, he worked on several civil rights cases.
Outside of the office, Nathan enjoys trying new foods, watching the Dallas Cowboys and Mavericks, playing basketball, and traveling.
